Avadhoot Gupte presented Marathi film Boyz is winning hearts of the young audience across Maharashtra. The film is getting liked for the witty dialogues and specially the 3 Boys, Parth Bhalerao, Sumant Shinde and Pratik Lad's acting. The film which was released on 8th September became a superhit in first 3 days itself collecting 3.72 crores at the box office.
Light-hearted comedy about hostel boys, Boyz connected with the younger generation instantly and groups of boys and girls staring thronging the theatres to watch the film, making many shows housefull. To meet this demand in the second week, the shows are increased from 2800 in 1st week to 4000 in second week. The screens are also increased from 300 to 350. For a Marathi film to increase the shows in the 2nd week is a very good sign. This had earlier happened for last year's blockbuster film Sairat.
Avadhoot Gupte, who had composed the music of the film has also presented the film under his banner Ekvira Productions. When contacted he felt happy about the whole progress of the film and thanked the audience for making Boyz a Superhit.
The film is directed by Vishal Devrukhkar and produced by Lalasaheb Shinde and Rajendra Shinde under the banner of Supreme Motion Pictures. Apart from the 3 boyz, the film stars Ritika Shrotri, Santosh Juvekar, Zakir Hussain, Shilpa Tulaskar, Sharvari Jamenis and Vaibhav Mangle.
