There were many films made on the actual use of education in shaping the future of students like 3 Idiots, Taare Jameen Par, Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho and many more. Recently an upcoming Marathi film Barayan's Poster was released on social media. From the poster anyone can predict that it speaks about education, but there is more than the eye meets. The film is directed by Deepak Patil and produced by Daivata Patil under the banner of Onjal Arts Productions.
The poster shows a graph paper on which an obtuse angle is drawan along with a pencil and a protractor. If you carefully see it makes a drawn bow and arrow, which is ready to hit target. It also shows an origami birds created with some colorful papers. Even the 12 has been given a special treatment in the title of Barayan. Now there arises many questions. what is the target? are the birds trying to add the artistic angle to the critical topic of education? Also the title 'Barayan' is not a common Marathi word. Does Barayan signifies an important year of 12th standard in the life of a student? All these questions create a huge curiosity about the story and subject the film is going to handle.
All these questions will be answered on 12th January 2018, when the film releases on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanad, which is celebrated as 'National Youth Day'. Even their is curiosity about the cast of the film.
