Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar are well known faces and celebrated actors of the country. Both have created a niche for themselves in the film and TV industry. Now, their daughter Shriya is making head turns with her performance in 'FAN'.

Bhalchandra Nemade is the well-known writer in Marathi, famous for his books ‘Hindu’ & ‘Kosala’. Also he is known for his novel ‘Hindu - Jagnyachi Samrudhha Adgal’. He is a recipient of the civilian honour of Padma Shri (2011) and the Gyanpeeth Award (2014). Based on his life a Docu-Fiction film is directed by Akshay Indikar, titled ‘Udaharnarth Nemade’.

Nana Patekar is not your average armchair actor-activist. Every year, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Dadasaheb Phalke, Maharashtra Government distribute awards to artistes and makers of Marathi films. This year, the award ceremony will be held for the first time in Borivali, Mumbai, on 30th April 2016. The announcement to this effect was made by Maharashtra Cultural Minister Mr. Vinod Tawde.

The most awaited Marathi movie of the year 2016, Sairat kick starts its promotions by taking blessings of the Mahalaxmi goddess of Kolhapur. After blockbuster hits like Katyar Kaljat Ghusali and Natsamrat, Zee Studios is all set to bring a story of impossible love Sairat, to be released on April 29 across the state.
