"Sometimes to understand the true meaning of happiness you have to go through discomfort and sorrows." It is easy to separate, but it is tougher to accept the person and still stay together. The meaning of life is when you live for others’ happiness and Children teach us how to be happy in any situation, that is the true change of heart – 'Hrudayantar'.
Shekhar (Subodh Bhave) and Samaira Joshi (Mukta Barve) are married for 12 years and well off financially but quarrel a lot on small issues. Shekhar is a successful hotelier whereas Samaira is an advertisement head in a reputed company. They have 2 adorable daughters Nitya (Trushnika Shinde) and Nysha (Nishtha Vaidya). Shekhar and Samaira's marriage is on the verge of divorce. When Nitya is diagnosed with a life threatening illness, the whole family goes through lots of emotional turnmoil. Will this tough situation bring the family together to sail through these turbulent waters? Watch the emotional yet satisfying film Hrudayantar.
Hrudayantar is a beautifully crafted emotional journey of a family going through really tough times. The story and screenplay is very tight with situations keep on happening keeping the viewers glued to the proceedings. The film has a rich look and the content is emotional. The story is centered on 2 plots, one in which Shekhar and Samaira are trying to reconcile, whereas the second plot of Nitya's illness helps the 1st one.
The music and background score by Praful Karlekar aptly suits the proceedings in the film. Mandar Cholkar's lyrics are meaningful for the situations and carry the story forward in each song. 'Pal re Bhopalya', ;Vaate Vari' and 'Datalele Dhuke' are the best ones.
The casting of the actors in this film is so perfect that you would not imagine any other actors in those parts. Subodh and Mukta both are mature in their parts and show why they are the best in the business for such intense roles. The support cast of Sonali Khare-Anand, Monika, Ameet Khedekar ably support, whereas cameos by Manish Paul, Shiamak Davar and Hrithik Roshan are well sketched as per the requirements (This is how cameos should be). The real stars of Hrudayantar are the child actresses, Trushnika and Nishtha. Both are very good for their roles in all the scenes be it dance, sports, fun moments or maturelly intense and emotional scenes.
Finally about the captain of the ship, director Vikram Phadnis makes you wonder where was he all these years. He has written and directed a film which touches heart and will satisfy you emotionally. The story will relate to each and every family and will make them emotional. Keep your handkerchiefs ready as this will make you cry a lot. Hrudayantar is a must watch with your friends and family members.
