Ashish Wagh directed Mr. & Mrs Sadachari is a remake of Kannada movie 'Mr. & Mrs Ramachari'. It is a masala entertainer. It has all the ingredients action, love, family, emotions and heartbreaks, but still it lacks that punch for which viewers come to watch this movie.

It keeps you entertained in first-half, but then after some time it all becomes too predictable like you have seen in so many masala movies. Vaibhav Tatwawadi though takes all the credit why you watch this movie till the end.

Story:
Shiva Sadachari (Vaibhav Tatwawadi) is an avid Shivaji Maharaj bhakt, but an average student. His father Shankar dislikes him but likes his younger brother Jeeva. Shiva spends most of his time with his close friends Dattu (Prasad Jawde) & Bandya (Uday Nene).

Shiva falls in love at first sight with Gargi (Prarthana Behere), while he saves her from ragging in college. He proposes and she accepts his love. But her mom is against Shiva as she thinks he is a Mawali.

The story takes unexpected turns due to misunderstandings. Shiva & Gargi separates and decide to marry with their parents’ choices. How they both reunite is to be seen in the theatres.

Acting:
There are strong acting performance from both the lead actors, Vaibhav and Prarthana. Both have matured enough as they have spent more time in the industry. Mohan Joshi gives his best performance as Shiva’s father. One particular scene of confession between Shiva and him shows lots of emotions.

Rest of the supporting cast of Uma Sardeshmukh, Uday Nene, Sumukhi Pendse, Prasad Jawde do their best. Vijay Andalkar seen as a baddie has only fight scenes.

Technical:
The story does not have any innovation or freshness. A tough guy, falls in love and how he wins his lady-love with all drama and action. More emphasis is given on dialogues, which are better. The lengthy scenes should have been avoided making it sleek and fast.

The positives are Action by Shivaji Raj and Cinematography Balaji Rangha. The movie is picturized on beautiful locals, so provides a soothing factor for the eyes.
Direction wise, Ashish Wagh’s efforts are ok and could have been better.

Music by Pankaj Padghan & V. Harikrishna is best for this movie and all the 5 songs are best.

Overall:
‘Mr. & Mrs. Sadachari’ has good production values, but becomes too predictable in second half and loses interest. Though the cinematography and action are commendable areas. It is a one-time watch for Vaibhav, Prarthana and South Masala movie fans.
