Mala Kahich Problem Nahi shows the same maturity in story-telling. The screenplay is smooth and director Sameer Vidwans does not preach anything, in fact the title itself is a sarcasm. There is no person on planet Earth without problems, but we constantly yearn for problem-free life.

The story of Mala Kahich Problem Nahi starts with the quarrel between Ajay's (Gashmeer Mahajani) Nagpuri family and Ketaki's (Spruha Joshi) Konkani family. Even when the families oppose their marriage, they go ahead and have a court marriage. The relationship problems start after 7 years of their marriage, when they already have a 4 year old son, Tanay.
