To complete 100 shows of a play is an achievement in Marathi theatre industry. The newest entrant in this '100 shows Club' is Actor Siddharth Jadhav and Director Kedar Shinde's comedy play Gela Udat. The play will stage its 100th show on 15th January 2017 at 4 pm at Shivaji Mandir at Dadar.

Bela Shinde's Third Bell Productions and Prasad Kambali's Bhadrakali Productions are the producers of this play. Gela Udat is Bhadrakali's 53rd Play.

Gela Udat is written and directed by Marathi industry's veteran Kedar Shinde and after a long time Siddharth Jadhav returned to the stage through this Play. Outstanding and energetic performance of Siddharth and amazing story are the main features of Gela Udat. Audience have encouraged and appreciated the play from the 1st show (staged on 13th May 2016) and that's why the play is staged throughout Maharashtra. Director Vijay Kenkre, Actors Ashok Saraf, Bharat Jadhav, Ankush Chaudhari, Amol Kolhe and many more celebrities have praised this drama and its entire team.

Story in short: Siddharth Jadhav play the central charater of Maruti, who since his childhood is influenced by Ramayana's Maruti and feels that he also has got the powers of Maruti. He calls himself 'Marutatmaj' (मारुतात्मज). He feels that he can solve all his domestic and life problems using these superpowers. All his relatives admit him in a hospital. Counseller Dr. Sayali makes him aware that he don't have any superpowers. There after Maruti starts solving his problems like an ordinary man.

Cast and Crew: Along with Siddharth Jadhav, Archana Nipankar, Surabhi Phadnis, Ghanashyam Ghorpade, Ganesh Jadhav, Amir Tadvalkar, Kiran Nevalkar, Gaurav More, Sachin Gawade and Sumeet Sawant are part of the cast of Gela Udat. The cast is ablely supported by the technicians Pradeep Mulye (Set Designer), Sheetal Talpade (Lights), Omkar Mangesh Dutta (Lyrics), Sai-Piyush (Music Director) and Sonia Parchure and Cedric D’Souza (Choreographer).
