Maharashtra’s favourite actress Mukta Barve is ready with a brand new Marathi Play Code Mantra from 18 June 2016. The play will be staged for the first time on 18 June 2016 at Prabodhankar Thakare Auditorium, Borivali at 4 pm. Code Mantra is an engaging courtroom drama set up against the background of the Indian Army.

Director Chandrakant Kulkarni and writer Mahesh Elkunchwar’s Marathi Play ‘Wada Chirebandi’ (वाडा चिरेबंदी) received much appreciation and acclaim from the audience. Chandrakant Kulkarni started the sequel of this famous play, titled ‘Magna Talyakathi’ (मग्न तळ्याकाठी) from 14 May 2016. Now Marathi theatre lovers in Pune have a golden opportunity to watch both these plays on the same day back-to-back.

Marathi Play Selfie starring five female actors is currently being loved all over Maharashtra. Recently the play also completed its 100 shows and now the ‘Selfie’ team is on tour of United States of America.

‘Sonal Productions’ produced, Advait Dadarkar directed ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ has bagged many awards at ‘28th Maharashtra Rajya Marathi Vyavsayik Natya Spardha’. Written by Mihir Rajda ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ has bagged the Best Play award here along with that the lead actors Spruha Joshi & Umesh Kamat have also been awarded the ‘Bronze Award' for lead performances respectively.

After completing the Marathi Serial Ka Re Durava on Zee Marathi, Maharashtra’s Favorite couple Jai-Aditi aka Suyash Tilak and Suruchi Adarkar turned to theatres for Marathi Play ‘Strawberry Lovechi Story’. The plays started with opening shows on 14 April 2016. Strawberry completed Silver Jubilee 25 shows recently at Zaverben Auditorium in Mumbai.
