After teasing fans with a series of intriguing posters, a cracker of a teaser and some fascinating promotional videos, the makers of the film Manjha unveiled the trailer online today, on 30th June. It’s a stunning trailer. The pace is set right from Ashvini Bhave's dialogue in the opening frame and it steps up relentlessly from thereon in a series of high voltage scenes with a intriguing twist at the end that leaves you gasping and asking for more.
'Manjha' is a psychological-thriller and the story revolves around three characters played by Ashvini Bhave, Sumedh Mudgalkar and Rohit Phalke. Ashvini Bhave's character of a worried yet strong mother grabs everybody’s attention. There seems to be a cat and mouse game afoot between Sumedh and Rohit but we don’t know whom to believe or trust. The background score is unlike anything heard in a Marathi film and amplifies the edginess of the scenes. At the end of the trailer the chilling eyes of the psychopathic Vicky saying “Hunt or be Hunted” continues to haunt.
Directed by Jatin Wagle and produced by Trilok Malhotra and KR Harish under the banner of India Stories the film has been slated for a July 21, 2017 release globally. The film is being presented by MFDC, a company focused on Marathi Film Distribution and Production. MFDC is promoted by Nittin Keni, with Manish Vasisht as co-promoter.
