Maharashtra's culture's main attraction is it's music. When it comes to folk music it is the delight for the viewers. Marathi audience has always appreciated good music and folk dances in films. Chhand Priticha is one such film which is very close to folk music and dance culture of Tamasha. The film portrays the musical journey of a shahir (a poet). The makers released the film's trailer recently.
Subodh Bhave, Suvarna Kale and Harsh Kulkarni starrer Marathi film 'Chhand Priticha' trailer shows an apt setup for a tamasha based film with a love triangle between these 3 main leads. The makers had already said that it is going to be treat for Tamasha loving fans as the film has many songs and lovely lavanis.
The film portrays the story of a shahir, Satyavan (Harsh Kulkarni), who leaves all his ancestral riches, just to devote himself to the folk arts. He meets Chandra (Suvarna Kale), the dancer and Dholki player Rajaram (Subodh Bhave) who are equally inclined to make a name in the folk arts of Tamasha and these art-lovers form a bond of love. Their whole journey is beautifully captured through the 8 songs in 'Chhand Priticha'.

Chhand Priticha stars Harsh Kulkarni, Suvarna Kale, Subodh Bhave, Sharad Ponkshe, Vikas Samudre, Suhasini Deshpande, Abhishek Kulkarni, Vishal Kulthe & Ganesh Yadav. N. Relekar has written & directed 'Chhand Priticha'. The film is produced by Chandrakant Jadhav under the banner of Premla Pictures.
Music is composed by Pravin Kunwar, while the lyrics are penned by N. Relekar. Songs are sung in their melodious voices by Bela Shende, Adarsh Shinde, Javed Ali, Ketaki Mategaonkar, Vaishali Samant and Nandesh Umap.
Chhand Priticha releases on 10th November all over Maharashtra.
