Marathi people are foodie, they love making and eating their food. Their are many cookery shows, but no films on the art of cooking in Marathi. So to tickle your taste-buds, renowned director Sachin Kundalkar brings us first food film in Marathi, Gulabjaam. The trailer of the film was launched yesterday in Mumbai and it looks quite yummy.
The film tells the story of Aditya and Radha portrayed by Siddarth Chandekar and Sonali Kulkarni respectively. Aditya is a young Maharashtrian man from London who comes to Pune to find someone, who would teach him traditional Maharashtrian cooking. His aim is to open a Marathi Gourmet Restaurant in London. In search of a perfect guru, he meets eccentric Radha, a woman who makes lunch-boxes for the students and working men in her area. Aditya needs to pass many tests before Radha accepts him as a student. Will she make him her student?

After the success of "Ye Re Ye Re Paisa", Zee Studios is presenting Gulabjaam, produced by Vishal Chordiya and Golden Gates Motion Pictures' Vinod Malgewar. The star cast of the film compromises prominent names like Sonali Kulkarni, Siddarth Chandekar, Madhura Deshpande, Chinmay Udgirkar, Mahesh Ghag and Mohanabai. Screenplay, dialouges and the story is penned by Tejas Modak and Sachin Kundalkar. The cinematography of the film is done by ace cinematographer Milind Jog. The background score of the film is lent by Debarpito Saha. The film is edited by Suchitra Sathe. Poorva Pandit has done Production Design, wherein Sayali Rajyadhyaksh and Shweta Bapat have done the Food Styling. Coming to music, the 'Thaikkuddam Bridge' band has lend music to 'Man Khamang' song, sung by Avadhoot Gupte and penned by Tejas Modak.
The sweet film, Gulabjaam will be releasing all over on 16th February 2018.
