There are hundreds of films about husband and wife's relationship, fights and their reconciliations. Though the concept is very thin, its the plotline and script that makes it interesting. In last few months we have already witnessed the similar concept films in Marathi, 'Hrudayantar' and 'Mala Kahich Problem Nahi'. Tula Kalnnaar Nahi is the least entertaining of the lot.

The main criteria for a better movie watching experience is to keep the story simple and present it in a clutter-free yet engaging manner. Mala Kahich Problem Nahi shows the same maturity in story-telling. The screenplay is smooth and director Sameer Vidwans does not preach anything, in fact the title itself is a sarcasm. There is no person on planet Earth without problems, but we constantly yearn for problem-free life.

Director Sameer Patil is known for making comedy films with a social message. His previous films Poshter Boys and Poshter Girl had a rural backdrop. This time though he chose an urban setup around the Mumbai police department and their challenges in Shentimental. He seems grown a lot as a director, as he gives audience a pure entertainment in a hilarious manner with a dose of reality. Shentimental is a perfect entertainer which is recommended for every Indian viewer. The film is a light hearted yet social dark comedy. There is no single hero in Shentimental and portrays the real life challenges of our policemen.

When your film has such a metaphorical title as Bus Stop, the viewers expect a decent story which either revolve around the journey of life or choosing the right path. Neither the story of Bus Stop nor the characters justify the title. The clash of generations, love story, college life are all cliched and viewers has seen such things in so many films that the film itself becomes a joke to watch.

Psychological thriller is a less explored genre in Marathi cinema. The film Manjha which released today has a very simple plot and sticks to its genre, unravelling the psyhotic nature of the very dangerous character and its impact on the other fearful characters. "Hunt or Be Hunted", this is a jungle and the jungle rule applys to all of us as well. So either fear or conquere that fear.
