Actress Urmila Kothare, who was last seen as Rani Ahilyabai Holkar in the 'Awaaz' series on television, will soon be playing the main role of Vithabai Narayangaonkar in the film titled 'Vitha'.
According to sources, the film is all set to release next year 2017. Urmila will have actor Upendra Limaye fpr company in the film. The screenplay and dialogues of 'Vitha' are written by Pundalik Dhumal and Shantanu Rode. Sanjay Jadhav and Devendra Golatkar are the cinematographers; the art director is Mahesh Salgaonkar.
The film is the unfolding of the life of the 'Tamasha Empress' which has an equally impressive music. Ajit Parab, Sameer Mhatre and Rohit Nagbhide are the music directors. Phulwa Khamkar is the choreographer. Pundalik Dhumal directed 'Vittha' will show us the numerous and different aspects of the life of Vithabai, who loved her art deeply. The other technical and post production work is going on at a very rapid pace to release the film in 2017.
